You will still be able to backup your cards/contact data on your iPhone or Android phone.
For iOS devices:
If you are using an iOS device (iPhone or iPad), and have enabled ‘Sync with iCloud’, you will be able to create a backup of your cards/contacts on your iCloud account which can be accessed through any other iOS device using the same iCloud account.
To back-up or restore, please follow below steps:
- Open the ScanBizCards app on your iOS device and tap on the Settings button (Gear sign).
- Tap on Backup/Restore.
- Choose the option depending on what you want to do (Backup or Restore). If you want to have save your scanned cards within your iCloud account, choose Backup and if you want to restore the cards/contacts saved under your iCloud to ScanBizCards app list choose Restore Now.
For Android devices:
In order to create a backup on your Android devices, you need to sync your device with Google Drive. Once you sync, if you uninstall the app and/or want to restore the same contact list on another device/ScanBizCards app, you may do so using the same Google account on that device.
To back up or restore, please follow the below steps:
- Open the ScanBizCards app on your Android device and tap on the Settings button (Gear sign).
- Tap on Backup/Restore.
- Choose the option depending on what you want to do (Backup or Restore). If you want to have save your scanned cards within your Google Drive, choose Backup and if you want to restore the cards/contacts saved under your Google Drive to ScanBizCards app list choose Restore Now.
